Slime Time: 8am – 12pm
The Nutty Professor begins this workshop by looking at the differences between different states of matter: solids, liquids and gases. We then discuss a further category (plasma) that is somewhere in between a solid and a liquid! The children will love making gobeldy goo and discovering how it behaves when different forces act upon it. Next we will create two different varieties of slime- glittery galaxy slime and snow slime. It is hands on fun for everyone! And yes- the kids get to take their creations home with them! With borex free slime to keep the kids happy!
Water & Games: 12pm – 3pm
Water & Games is a fun filled program which is comprised of two parts – a running games section and a water games section.
First we play all the traditional fun running games kids love on a large open secure space. Then once the kids are all warm, we play water games for the second part of the program, which involves splashing games, water toys and other water based activities.
Please note this program is weather permitting, so if its poor weather, we will run other sports in its place. Parents should provide all children with a small towel for drying off.
There is no need for swimewear. Children should all wear their normal sporting clothes and closed in sports shoes.
There will be a drying off period at the end of the program.
No children will be immersed in water and there is no pool on site.
